The Crew

April is a happily married homemaker and mom to an 18 month old little girl. She tries, sometimes successfully, to divide her time fairly between spending time with her family, cooking, cleaning, and recreation, but cleaning usually gets the short end of the stick. Whenever she has a spare minute (do people actually have those?), she’s usually trying to catch up on reading her friends’ blogs or writing her own posts at Where Do We Go From Here?

Bailey Ana is a separated mum (mom) of two boys under 9 living in England. She recently left the rat race to squeeze in her parental responsibilities between the pursuit of happiness, taking photos, baking & blogging! Every now and then she’ll do something cool but mainly she stares at her messy house and wonders when she’ll have it all worked out! She blogs about food, with life, art and music thrown in for good measure at Eat, Pray, Bake and she has a small collection of photos at Portraits by Dewbien.

Dee Ann is a Mother of 5 children. She has home schooled all of her children through high school. She has 2 left at home and is still schooling the last one. Her passions are spending time with her family, traveling and internet marketing. She loves meeting new people and learning what they have to offer. She thinks she will be learning until the day she dies. Dee Ann can also be found at Dee Ann Rice.com

Heather: Most of the time, she lives in complete mayhem. Sometimes she strings a few words together describing this. Other times, she hides in the corner of her closet, admiring the heels she never wear and hoping the kids don’t find her and wonder where their dinner is. Heather can also be found writing on her own blog at That Uncomfortable Itch.

Jayme is a 30-something mom, blogger, wife, Pinterest addict, over-sharer, and aspiring social media maven. She has been known to sing instead of talking and break out in dance, with jazz hands, at any given moment. While she is not at her day job at an IT Company you can find her blogging at The Random Blogette about her sitcom-like life and encouraging all women to embrace their womanly bodies. If that isn’t enough to make her want to collapse she is also one of the co-founders of The Social Parent Network. Yes, she needs a nap and a coffee IV stat.

Jenny is a sleep deprived thirty-something fiancée and stay-at-home mom. Occasionally she can be seen gracing the (way) Off-Off Broadway stages of NYC; thus far the only use of that fancy NYU Tisch School of the Arts Drama Degree. Free time used to spent knitting, reading, cross-stitching or bar crawling. She can also be found writing on her personal blog at NYC Jenny.

Kerry is a mom of 3 girls, ages 11,9 and 6. They live in the beautiful English Countryside after emigrating there from South-Africa. To keep her sanity (well to TRY and keep it) Kerry blogs about the everyday things that go on in her crazy, but loveable house. She has a wicked sense of humour, cannot for the life of her bake a cupcake, and likes to think she is very cool, but still uses words like RAD. Be Warned… she says ‘Whoop Whoop’ a LOT. Kerry can also be found over at Life, as I Know It.

Lisa is a freelance writer from the UK and mother to a particularly anarchic toddler.  She falls over a lot, can’t drive (YET) and is an appalling housewife, but reads an excellent bedtime story.  Bits of her house fall off on an alarmingly regular basis and there is usually some form of bacteria based experiment going on in her fridge.  She swears a lot, but it’s in a charming British accent, so that’s OK, yes?  Gin is her friend.  Find her over at her blog, How to be a Domestic Disgrace too.

Maureen is a thirty-something (her true age will never be revealed, unless you ask her daughter who is more than happy to spread the word) mother of one who works full-time out of the home.  Her job in corporate America doesn’t stop her from being suckered…*ahem*…doesn’t stop her from volunteering her time to her daughter’s likes and to her school.  She has been happily married to her college sweetheart for 11 years.  If you can’t find her at home, check for her at Citizens Bank Park cheering on the Phillies.  She loves all things related to Philadephia sports.  She has been known to stalk Bruce Springsteen when he comes around in concert.  She loves U2 and the Foo Fighters, all things related to Star Wars, and she loves to bake.  She also serves as the team captain of Bubby’s Buddies, which is her family’s effort to raise funds and awareness for Autism Research. She can also be found writing on her personal blog, the Buttercream Queen.

Monique is a subversive mom of four Minions and is married to her husband and childhood friend. Glitter shoed and tattooed, she is the author of the stunningly mediocre blog Razing Mayhem and in her free time she’s a photographer. This chaos connoisseur has got it all figured out! If “all” of course means “nothing.”

Nicole graduated from Portland State University with a BA degree in Communication Studies. She loves writing, books, creativity, Sims 3, Criminal Minds, and escaping to the beach (or the library) whenever she can. When she’s not blogging my book reviews on this fabulous site, she is also blogging about her experiences as a writer on her own blog. Nicole’s personal blog: The World of My Imagination

Patti is an over-educated, single mom of two divas, who lives with a few animals (the number goes up or down depending on how recently she has swept under the couch.) Patti teaches dogs which fork to use in any given social situation, and has joined the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. When she’s not fighting with a seven year old about why it’s not ok to wear a nightgown and snow boots to church in August, Patti can be found in front of her sewing machine, wondering how in the heck she is going to fix that sleeve she just sewed on backwards. Patti can also be found writing at A True Fit.

Peggy would like to spend every day in her gardens, but has to devote some time to her husband, 2 boys & their beagle (housecleaning, optional). She proudly admits to her age (47), being the youngest of 8, from WV and willingness to drink wine. Peggy is the founder/owner/designer of comfycozy.com, a line of “magical” Glow-in-the-Dark Pillowcases & Keepsake Calendars. Juggling life while working out of her home office causes her to go off-the-deep-end on a regular basis so don’t be surprised at anything she may say!

Sally is a transplanted Brit married to a Yank for 24+ years and the mother of two. She has managed to maintain her impeccable English accent by watching the BBC on a daily basis. Sally has been nagged into contributing to this fantabulous blog by Cheryl, the consummate nagger. She has often wanted to take Cheryl up on her offer to rid her of her enemies, but lobster is just too darn expensive!

Tricia is a thirty-something year old stay-at-home mom of one seven year old boy. She spends her free time watching movies on Lifetime, reading, writing, blogging and, although it is probably detrimental to her mental health, googling. She has a BA in English Literature and an MA in Educational Counseling but her dream job is to be a writer. You can visit her site at Adventures in Gracieland.
